The self-proclaimed “curly haired warrior-poet


Mick Frederick Primmer was born in Canberra, ACT Australia, among the many different places he’s called home, Mick’s creative-mojo currently resides in Los Angeles, California.

Mick’s journey as an actor, mixed-movement artist and holistic-lifestyle coach began with his dreams in the small capital city down-under, as he learned to embrace his physicality and creativity the intrigue to learn to become a storyteller blossomed in his heart to make the move to Austin, Texas, to explore life in America and never be denied an opportunity.

An interesting stint in pro-wrestling school had pivoted into a desire for filmmaking education at Austin Community College, where there he found his passion for acting in a “Lighting for TV & Film” class taught by professor Angel Granados, students were chosen as actors to help recreate famous movie scenes with the help of their peers on a live set, Mick played Matthew McCounaughey in True Detective and was instantly hooked into the world of performance.

There began the steps necessary to take his show on the road and move to Hollywood in June 2018, studying at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts, igniting a spiritual and artistic awakening that has garnered him professional training under the renowned Peter Frisch and The Linklater Center, infusing his artistic curiosity and devotion with Budokon, the mixed-movement arts practice originated by Cameron & Melayne Shayne.

His pursuit as an embodiment of Self-Realization continues, bringing forth deep passion in holistic-health education with the Chek Institute and in collaboration with many different spiritual healers, health practitioners and creative-artists.

Never missing the chance to be an unapologetically courageous in his ongoing endeavors to make this world a better place, Mick Primmer refuses to shy-away from being what he also deems as a “Spiritual Cowboy” to help liberate humankind transition into a new harmony for the betterment of all beings.
